Waterworks is totally worth the while. You get really good gear and its free. Alot of people always say that waterworks is a waste of time and to much of a grind, i disagree here is why. There are alot of player out there who buy crowns and open packs to get crown gear, i for one and one of those people.Overall waterworks is better because it’s more well rounded and you want to be able to hold your own if you have to solo something. Red huckleberries drop pink huckleberries, which drop deadly helephant ears which also guaranteed drop rank 8 megas at elder. Waterworks drop rate. so i've been farming waterworks for the past three days and almost thirty runs later just for the hat i still have not gotten it. its getting a bit ridiculous and my frustration is through the roof. please kingsisle increase the drop rates.Feb 19, 2010 · To gain more attack bonus, you wind up losing resist (or something else). Waterworks gear the resist is global, meaning it protects you against all schools. Just my opinion. And yes, critical bonus has pretty much become obsolete with the release of Azteca although it does "get through" once in a blue moon.
Boots give critical, damage, and resist with some power pip as well. Option 2. Keep the Water works hat and robe and craft the block boots in azteca so that you get a bit of resist and more block than crit. Option 3, you can do Tartarus for gear which in my opinion is a absolute waste of time.Gavin Shade, level 75. Usually by the fifth or so run, one would start to see drops being collected. Having done it over ten times as you said and not having at least one part of the gear is quite odd. Luska Charmbeak, the first boss you encounter in the dungeon is the one that drops the hat. The robe and shoes are dropped by the final boss.

But if you’re willing and able to, go for it. The Hades wand is very good as well. Again, Waterworks can last you until Darkmoor, which is only 10 levels after Tartarus, so don’t sweat if if you can’t do it.It also adds accuracy for Balance/Life/Death while adding pips for Fire/Ice/Storm/Myth.
