Under $2,000, pretty much all of the major brands are roughly equivalent.The battery is the single most expensive component in the vast majority of mid grade ebike builds. There's just no way around that. A quality pack that meets your needs would be a 36-48V 10 amp hour minimum battery pack and it will cost $300 minimum. If there's any 1 component you should splurge on it's the battery.With the exception of the folding E-bikes, 1 hard tail, and 1 fat bike, all my E-bikes are mid-drive and capable of easily going above 30 mph.
