I assumed Blizz had increased the droprate of them then so i gave a few of them away to clanmates. But after that I went 6-7 weeks without a single gift dropping and running out of gifts.

In any case, you can't specifically farm for them, the chance to get them is proportional to the total number of legendaries that drop, so upping the difficulties and doing rifts should help. So I was trying to use ramaladni's gift to socket a legendary on switch. And I know that it can't have a socket or else it won't work, but when I click to apply a socket to a gear piece it just says "no items" which is very weird and a bug that pisses me off. I do it on my UE DH, so I can get about 1 gift every 10 to 20 GR from one shotting everything.
